Monday and Tuesday - 20&21 October I had the great pleasure to work for Mostyn Gallery with the Peruvian artist Antonio Paucaur. I was commissioned to create a video for his exhibition, as part of this years Artes Mundi 11, with the Promoting Partner The Bagra Foundation. We headed up The Great Orme. Y Gogarth, to find a suitable location to capture some footage of him walking on the earth and interacting with standing stones, an integral part of his process, and then returning to the gallery to film the final part. Amazing experience and happy with the result.

June 12th. A walk along the Anglesey coastal path East from Amlwch brings you to this abandoned chemical factory, decaying for the last 20 years. Nature is reclaiming it, slowly, the concrete and wood structures are disintegrating and some of these will collapse in the not too distant future. It staggers me how we allow industry to create these structures, but not required to dismantle them and return the landscape to its original condition. Probably due to the company going out of business, and no doubt starting up again with a new name to remove this obligation.
